Before the Kambo Microdosing session. You will be asked to inform your facilitator, Ronen, of any health issues, medications, or supplements you are taking. Fasting from solid foods (i.e. anything but water or coconut water) is required for only 2 hours prior to a scheduled session. More specific instructions will be provided prior to the session. After the session is complete, no fasting is required and the participant can eat regularly.
During the session. The space where the session is to take place is purified by the facilitator. An opening invocation is made to the Spirit of Kambo, and intentions are set. The facilitator then makes one shallow, superficial burn using the ember tip of a vine. It is typically made on the shoulder although other places on the body can be accommodated. The outer layer of skin is scraped so that when applied, the secretion will enter and be absorbed into the body through the lymphatic system. The burn is minor. While felt, in most cases it is not painful.
Next, the facilitator applies a small Kambo “dot” containing the Kambo secretion onto the burn.
What follows is typically an experience each person may feel differently. Most people feel instant rise in body temperature, especially around the head, increased heartbeat, pressure in the head, and possibly minor swelling in the face, lips, ears, and possibly around the throat. Unlike traditional full Kambo session, the above is not as intense, and there is no or very little nausea. Typically the secretion stays on the body 15 to 20 min.
The facilitator will be watching the participant closely, ready to make changes as needed.
A good advice is to try and relax into the experience, which is much easier to do with microdosing versus the traditional full session. Some participants use the time for meditation.
Once the experience starts to subside, the facilitator will remove the dot. For most participants the recovery time from a microdosing session takes 5-10 min.
A natural plant resin named Dragon’s Blood is applied onto the dot. This protects the area while the skin burn heals. The Dragon’s Blood drop remain on the skin for about 7-9 days and will fall off on its own when its job is complete. A small burn mark will remain for a while. Some refer to this as the “Kambo tattoo” and carry it with pride. :-)
After the session. Most participants report feeling an increase in their vital energy, reduction and even removal of inflammation, and a general sense of wellbeing. The facilitator will follow up with you by phone/text/email within a day of the session being over.
Follow-up sessions. A good number of participants feel the benefit of having a Kambo Micodosing session regularly e.g. once a month, especially if handling an ongoing chronic condition, but also for ongoing maintenance.

Kambo Microdosing is recommended for:

What does this treatment entails and how is it different than a traditional session:
With Kambo microdosing, the participant receives only one small burn (aka gate,) versus several gates as with the traditional treatment, and only one small dose of the Kambo secretion is applied. While the initial side-effects of Kambo will begin e.g. sensations of heat, the facilitator, upon feedback from the client, will aim at keeping the recipient in a state that is pre-purgative.
A typical session lasts 15-20min, and recovery is usually fast. Given that there is no purge, preparation is easier. There is no need to consume large quantities of water prior or during the session, and fasting for two hours prior to session is sufficient. Recovery time is also much faster.
Is Kambo Microdosing still worth doing if there is no purge?
The short answer is yes, but it depends. If a deep cleanse is what the client needs, it is recommended to do a full traditional session, at least once, and only then follow up with microdosing session(s).
While with microdosing the recipient receives only a small dose of the Kambo secretion, the amazing peptides of Kambo still enter the system and work their magic. And the client is still able to connect with the healing spirit of the frog.

How often should one partake with Kambo Microdosing?
While the answer for this question varies from one person to another, typically, if there are no special circumstances, once monthly shall suffice.

Haux! (pronounced Haush) is a common greeting among the Huni Kuin and other indigenous tribes of the Amazon basin. It has several meanings including, yes, I agree, so be it, in harmony, kudos, and more.
Death or serious injuries from Kambo are rare. In the few instances it occurred, accordingly to my research, these took place because of the way Kambo was administered e.g. into the blood and in close proximity to the heart. I follow very strict protocol about administering Kambo and lean on the side of caution. You are welcome to do your own research on the matter. Kambo is an amazing medicine but it is also a venom and should be treated with the utmost respect.
